Stethoscope on the Cardiogram

Appointment Information

During the ongoing Coronavirus situation, we are taking proactive steps to minimise the exposure risks to all our patients and staff.  Please telephone rather than visit the Practice for enquiries/ to book appointments.  We ask that you wear a face covering when attending the

Practice and attend alone unless you require assistance. Please arrive no earlier than your appointment time and we ask you adhere to our social distancing rules and any further guidance given by staff on arrival.

We will now be utilising telephone and video consultations where possible to assess and advise the majority of patients requiring new appointments.  When calling the Practice our Medical Receptionists will ask some questions surrounding the nature of your appointment request, in order that you are given an appointment appropriate to your clinical requirements.

Video Consultation

Near Me video consulting (powered by Attend Anywhere) is being used to reduce exposure to Coronavirus by enabling both patients and clinicians to consult remotely.   By using video consultation it reduces the footfall to the Practice which in turn protects both patients and Practice staff.  In order to use this service you must have been allocated a video consultation by the Practice.  If a clinician invites you to consult with them via video link please

.   Please then return to this page on your device and click the "Near Me" button above to start the call.

Extended Hours Surgery

Our Advanced Nurse Practitioners run an Extended Hours Surgery four evenings per week.  These appointments are bookable appointments and can be made by calling the Practice on 01592-805100.  Please note the Practice will be closed to anyone without an appointment and telephone lines will not be in operation during these times.

Home Visits

If you require a home visit please telephone the Practice before 10am.  Home visits are for housebound patients or if you are too ill to visit the Practice.  The GP will only visit if they think your medical condition requires it.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason, please inform us as soon as possible in order that the appointment can be given to someone else.  This can also be done whe the Practice is closed by leaving a message on our answering machine.
